  • Personal: Dr. Ortega-Schmitt is married with four children.  She and her family have made Granger their home for the past eleven years.  She chose to live and work in Granger because of the quality of life the area offers and the great people who live here.  Her husband serves on the Clay Fire Department and her children attend school in the Penn district.

    Philosophy: Forming a "partnership" with her patients to make an individualized plan is her priority.  She also has a strong interest in asthma, insulin resistance, preventative health care, and general family medicine.
